From the families who's loved ones we've cared for...
Hi Shannon,
Thank you so much for doing everything for Erma and taking good care of her. We really appreciate all the love and help you’ve showed her and us. It means so much to us. You are all really special to us and we are thankful to have met all of you.

Hi Shannon,
I continue to be impressed with how you run Heritage House. It is so great to just walk in there, unannounced, and everybody is doing what they are supposed to be doing, i.e. Amanda and Irene were busy, smiling, relaxed, and they seemed to be enjoying taking care of the residents. Please pass that observation along to them.
Thanks,
Jane Q.

Hi Shannon,
I was recently talking with a friend that is going through some of what we did with Fran a year ago, before finding Heritage House. It gave me the opportunity to think about the many wonderful people that pointed me in the right direction but especially the social worker that spoke so highly of Heritage House and you.
Looking back a year ago, Fran was in very poor physical and mental condition. Not knowing that the reason was Alzheimer's we were at a loss as to how to help her - until you helped us. The first few months were rough, Fran wanted to go home and was very unhappy. Our many phone conversations helped ease my fears. Gradually Fran has made many friends at the home and is quite content. We can't believe how her health has improved!
The staff at Heritage House is wonderful - it takes a special kind of person to work with Alzheimer's patients. They have all gone out of their way to make sure Fran is happy & content.
So feel free to use any or all of this Shannon as a testimony on Heritage House. Like I've told you many times, thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for Fran!
Thanks,
Julie B.

My wife has been living at Heritage House for over one year, and she has received excellent care.
We have found the facility provides loving and kind care at all times in a family type atmosphere with many scheduled activities according to the needs and abilities of the residents.
The facility is open and welcomes visits of family members at all times, while protecting the residents security and safety.
I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs this level of care for their loved one.

When your loved one can no longer live at home consider Heritage House of Woodburn for a home away from home. All of the staff are loving, caring and helpful with the residents and the family members. I would recommend visiting Heritage House and talk with the staff. You will see what a homey comfortable place this would be for a loved one.

My husband Don has been a patient at Heritage House for two and a half years. First he was sent to a Salem Facility which seemed very cold and uncaring. I had to wait for an opening and I have never been sorry.. All of the caregivers that I have seen around are kind and loving to the patients. Shannon Souza the Administrator keeps on top of all that is going on. The patients are kept clean and they take every precaution to prevent injuries. I do come in every other day so I keep on top of what is going on with my husband. I would highly recommend this facility. Also I like it as they only have 15 patients. Some places that I checked out had many more. Here it is more homey and comfortable.
Sincerely, Mary C., April 2009
